Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) was established in the year 1957 it was set up in the year 1957 in Jaipur and later it was shifted to Ajmer in 1961. There are 7 Ex-officio members in the board including Vice chairman.
The Rajasthan Board conducts examinations by the end of every year, Annual Examination in February/ March on the basis of designed syllabus by the State Government.

Rajasthan Board has conducted SSC exams for 2013 in the month of March and the same were completed by the end of the month, Lakhs of students appeared for the examinations in this year
BSER 10th Class Time table 2016 points
1. Date sheet will be announced soon on http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/ and the students can visit the website to view the date sheet.
2. Students can prepare for the examinations well in advance as the time table will be announced prior to the examination. Hall tickets are issued to the students before the commencement of the examination.
3. Students can download and view the date sheet in the BSER official website http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/
4. The timetable would provide detailed info on the subjects, exam dates, time and information that is relevant to the appearing students.
5. Students can also download the provisional mark sheet and also collect it from the schools after the results are announced.
6. Rajasthan Board Results of the Matric Exams for last year were declared in the first week of June following the exams.
