The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala came into existence in 1969. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed.

Currently, more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education. Almost 5 lakh students appear in the examinations conducted by the HP Board.

HPBOSE XII Class Exams 2016

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education holds the Board XII Class exams every year as one of its primary examinations.

The Board conducts its annual examination in the month of March.

The HP Board releases Class XII time table a few months prior to the examinations to allow students time to prepare for the examinations in advance.
