A.P. Open School Society (APOSS) was established as an autonomous society registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Act on 20th of February 1991 and inaugurated on the 17th of March 1991. The SSC course was started in the year 2008-09. It was a milestone for the first State Open School in the country.
The objective of APOSS is to identify the educational needs of the children/persons of the State who are generally not catered to by the formal system of school education.
APOSS Inter Examination 2016
The Prospectus for the Intermediate year 2013-14 has been issued, Students are required to fill the Prospectus and pay the prescribed fee.
The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society holds its Inter exams twice a year i.e October/November and April/May. For the year 2016 the Inter Examination will be conducted in April/May 2016.
The date sheet of the Inter exam will be made public few months ahead of the exams to give students time to prepare.
